Mac or no?

I updated my windows vista service pack recently. It asked me to reboot afterward but it never turned back on. I haven't been able to turn it on in safe mode or anything so a system restore isn't really an option. Neither Joe or I have been able to fix it or find anything about how to fix it. Any computer geniuses out there that can help? Otherwise (and I not so secretly want this) I would have to get a new computer...

I've been considering going to a Mac, but I'm afraid of change. I'd have to learn the new interface but I'm sure I could handle it. Thoughts on getting a Mac?

I have a PC at work and a mac at home. I'm partial to the mac, but am glad I am familiar with both interfaces; it's like being bilingual.

Ryan and I both have Macs at home and love them! Every time my parents call about a slow computer or a virus, I contemplate buying them a Mac so I don't have to rebuild their computer anymore! :o)

The cheaper option to a new computer might be getting an upgrade to Windows 7 - if you're computer runs vista, it'll run win7. Win 7 has been much better received than vista; I use it at work and it's not so bad!

Ok, that was the obligatory responsible, money saving advice. Here's what I really want to say:

Buy a Mac. It might take some getting used to, but it won't take long and you'll be very happy you made the switch. Macs just work - simple. :)
